Motor sports: Audi proves fastest again at LeMans
Audi survived a collision late in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France to win the endurance race for the fifth straight year and give Tom Kristensen a record eighth victory.
Kristensen teamed with Rinaldo Capello and Allan McNish in the Audi No. 2 that made the best of wet racing conditions and beat faster Peugeot cars.
Soccer:Turkey reaches European quarterfinals
Turkey stunned the Czech Republic with three goals in the final 15 minutes, including two in three minutes, for a 3-2 victory at Geneva, Switzerland, that sent the Turks into the European Championship quarterfinals.

Former Michigan All-America Andy Hrovat beat three-time national champion Mo Lawal to win at freestyle 185 pounds in the U.S. wrestling trials at Las Vegas. Ben Asken took the 163-pound freestyle class, beating national runner-up Tyrone Lewis .
Fishing: VanDam claims Kentucky Bassmasters
Kalamazoo’s Kevin VanDam won the Bassmaster Elite Series’ Bluegrass Brawl at Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville.
